An alleged attack by Saudi-led coalition warplanes targeted Maqsam Salahah Bridge in Al-Ahjar, Al-Al-Mahwit Governorate, on October 31, 2016
Several sources on news sites, Twitter, and Facebook claimed that the Saudi-led coalition warplanes targeted Maqsam Salahah bridge in Al-Ahjar District, Al-Al-Mahwit Governorate, with two airstrikes. According to a number of sources on Twitter and Facebook, the targeting led to the destruction of the bridge, cutting off the route between Al-Al-Mahwit and Sana'a governorates, and damaging nearby buildings and residences. Several photos were circulated by other sources, showing damage on a bridge due to the attack, according to the sources. A news report video by a source on news sites shows footage of the attack, where a gathering of people can be seen carrying some shrapnel, the destruction of the bridge, and the crater of the shelling on the bridge be seen, where a number of people gathered around it. A number of people were interviewed also who spoke about the attack.
